Terms and Conditions

These terms and conditions govern the sale and installation of a new car battery by Battery PAL. By purchasing a new car battery and/or utilizing our installation services, you agree to abide by the following terms:

Product Description: The car battery sold by Battery PAL is described accurately on sales receipts, product packaging, or other sales channels. It is the customer's responsibility to ensure that the purchased battery is compatible with their vehicle.

Purchase Agreement: By completing the purchase of a new car battery from Battery PAL, you enter into a binding agreement to pay the specified price for the product.

Installation Services: Battery PAL offers optional installation services for purchased car batteries. The installation service includes the removal, and disposal of the old battery and the proper installation of the new battery by trained technicians. There is no additional cost for installation of most car batteries sold by Battery PAL. There may be an additional cost for installation of special order batteries or for the installation of batteries in certain makes and models categorized as difficult installations.

Payment: Payment for the new car battery and installation services, if applicable, is due at the time of purchase or installation, as specified by Battery PAL. Payment may be made using accepted methods such as credit/debit cards, cash, or check.

Liability Limitation: Battery PAL shall not be liable for any damages, losses, or expenses arising from the sale, installation, or use of the new car battery, except to the extent prohibited by applicable law. Battery PAL shall not be responsible for the service or cost of any electrical or computer programming required or requested after the installation of the new car battery. Battery PAL shall not be liable for any damages caused by improper installation, misuse, neglect, or unauthorized modifications to the new car battery.

Refund Policy:
- To be eligible for a refund, the car battery must be unused, in its original packaging, and accompanied by proof of purchase, such as a receipt or order confirmation.
- If a car battery has been installed and the vehicle has been turned on, the battery is no longer eligible for return.
- Refunds will only be considered within 14 days of the original purchase date.
- Customers seeking a refund for an unused car battery must contact our customer service team at 973-839-2335. Our team will guide you through the refund process and provide any necessary assistance.
- Upon receipt and inspection of the returned unused car battery, we will initiate the refund process.
- Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used for the purchase.
- The unused car battery must be in its original condition, undamaged, and free from signs of wear or installation attempts.
- Any accessories or additional items included with the car battery must also be returned in their original condition.
- Refunds will not be issued for car batteries that have been installed, used, damaged, or tampered with in any way.
- A restocking fee of 20% may be applied to all eligible returns of unused car batteries. This fee covers the cost of inspection, restocking, and processing the return.
- Customized or special-order car batteries are not eligible for refunds unless they are deemed defective or do not meet the specifications outlined in the order.
- Any additional services, such as installation or maintenance, are non-refundable.
- Battery PAL reserves the right to update or modify this refund policy at any time without prior notice. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website or informing customers through other channels.

Governing Law: By purchasing a new car battery from Battery PAL and/or utilizing our installation services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms and conditions. 

Manufacturer's Warranty

We are thrilled to announce that all stock batteries sold by Battery PAL come with a manufacturer's warranty to ensure your peace of mind and satisfaction. We understand the importance of reliability when it comes to automotive components, and we are committed to providing you with the highest quality car batteries on the market.

It's essential to clarify that the warranty coverage for our car batteries is provided solely by the manufacturer, and not by Battery PAL. This means that any claims or inquiries regarding warranty service should be directed to the manufacturer's customer service team.

Here are some key points regarding the manufacturer's warranty:

Coverage Details: The manufacturer's warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship for a specified period from the date of purchase. Please refer to the warranty information listed on your car batteries manufacturer label for specific coverage details and terms.

Claim Process: In the event that you encounter any issues covered by the manufacturer's warranty, you will need to follow the claim process outlined by the manufacturer. This typically involves providing proof of purchase and describing the nature of the issue.

Contact Information: For warranty inquiries or claims, please contact the manufacturer's customer service team directly. They will be able to assist you with any questions or concerns regarding warranty coverage and claims processing.

If you have a car battery covered under the manufacturer's warranty and require assistance with installation, our team is here to help.
- Installation Fee: To cover the cost of labor and service, we offer the warranty replacement installation service for a flat fee of $120.
- If you prefer to install the replacement battery yourself, you are welcome to do so by returning the battery to our office location and picking up the replacement at the same time. No installation or service to the vehicle will be performed.

Core Charge Policy

 Please be advised that a core charge of $20 will be applied if a customer chooses to retain the core from their car battery replacement transaction with Battery PAL. This charge is standard practice and is intended to encourage the return of used batteries for proper recycling and disposal.

If a customer chooses to keep the core from their car battery replacement, a core charge of $20 will be added to the total transaction amount. This charge is in addition to the price of the new car battery and any applicable installation fees.

By completing a transaction with Battery PAL, you acknowledge and agree to the core charge policy outlined above. If you have any questions or concerns regarding core charges or core returns, please contact our customer service team for assistance.
